Our spring comes with friends! Dyed in the favourite sock yarn base Mieli, Kaverit are yarn sets where two friends meet. Kaverit got their start from last year’s Christmas calendar shades. From which both Laura and Jonna chose three of their favourites. They dyed them and the whole thing got turned into a surprise. Jonna dyed a friend to Laura’s yarn and the other way around. From there sprung up six sets that each include the work of both of the Aara dyers — friendship at it’s best!
With friends the world is better place to live and love! <3
Friendships mean something different to all of us. For someone it might mean a furry friend to cross the stars with. For another it might mean sitting next to them in a coffee shop talking for hours.
Overall we think that friendship is an adventure which can lead you to infinity... and beyond.
Mieli kaverit are sets of yarn which want to be knit into stripes. One Mieli kaverit-set includes 2 x 50g Mieli-base merino sock yarn and you can knit supercalifragilisticexpialidocious stripe socks! Our all time favourite stripe socks pattern Tempo by Jonna Jolkin is available in Ravelry or our webstore.
As each skein is a piece of hand-painted art, there are no identical skeins. It is recommended that for larger projects in the same colour, you should knit in stripes, alternating skeins every 2 rows.
Aara is lovely hand-dyed yarn, dyed in Finland. Aara's colours are created with visions of like-minded friends, inspiration as well as co-incidences.
