Knit with ease in summer breeeze - yarn of the month in July

I know many of you put your needles away in summer and I can understand why. Hot summer weathers can make your hands sweaty and warm woolly knit can feel too hot on your lap. I knit all year around, maybe I only choose some lightweight yarn or switch wool in to plant fibers.

Our yarn of the month in July is great for summer knits. Sandnes Garn Line is one of our long time favorites. It creates nice and airy garment with the blend of cotton, viscose and linen. It is a DK weight yarn, so your knit doesn't take too much time from other summer activities, (like sipping some chilled Rose wine). Yarn is also soft and drapy and like many other Sandnes yarn you can wash and wear them numerous times.

I have tipped earlier for those DK weight tee patterns (here) and I tried now to find something different and interesting. I hope you like these tips. There is something for you crocheters too…

This little tee has a nice modern look to it. I could very well see this with some summer dresses or skirts or maybe with some culottes. Cropped western tee has some positive ease and a cropped hem.

If you like the boxy look, but more length in the body, you can knit this Summer tee instead.

If there is a need for a summer sweater, I love this bulky striped basic Koora sweater. This relaxed and nice Breton sweater is a free pattern.

If I would know how to crochet it would definitely make this beautiful Brave Heart vest and wear it over my denim shorts. I found also this stylish top,  Mavis vest pattern to your crocheters.

So take your needles or hooks and crab a few skeins of Line and make your favorite summer garment.
